The PCA Geocell for Load Support is a solution specifically designed for a variety of civil engineering applications, including road construction, erosion control, and land stabilization. 1. Roadbed preparation
The road surface should be leveled and large rocks removed according to the Engineer's instructions.
2. Geosynthetics installation (if necessary)
It is usually necessary to install a layer of geotextile under our geocell according to the road conditions and functional requirements, please confirm with your engineer or our engineer.
3. Geocell Installation
Our PCA geocells should be fully deployed on the road and all parts of the geocell should be connected and fixed using our special accessories
4. Geocell backfill and compaction
In road construction, backfill material can be soil, sand, gravel, crushed stone, graded stone or any other local material depending on the engineer's requirements. Backfill road should be compacted at least twice as per the project design.
5. Planting grass
This process is only applicable to ecological roads, if your project is a paved road or unpaved road, this step is not necessary. You should choose the grass species according to the local soil and climate.
